The UK Daily Mail was able to track down the elusive ginger wig sporting character and put a REAL name to the previously anonymous "Cigar Guy." Rupesh Shingadia. A South London analyst that still lives at home with mom and dad who has a great respect for the Spanish golfer Miguel Jimenez.
Shingadia doesn't have a mustache, and doesn't really have a ginger wig. Many thought it was a turban, but I always knew it was some sort of women's wig.
The guy is your run-of-the-mill analyst. Acquaintances say that he doesn't take to practical jokes and he's the last person on earth who they would think would do something like this.
Yeah, Rupesh Shingadia aka "Cigar Guy" has had his week of fame, and he's "embarrassed" and "overwhelmed." He probably never dreamed he'd be in a photo with Tiger Woods, let alone over shadowing the genius in what is probably the the best sports photo ever taken - a shot of a golf ball sailing right for the camera.
So now we know who Cigar Guy is. Maybe now he will become a British Reality Show star?
