Eagles Quarterback Michael Vick Injury 2010 Update

Eagles quarterback Michael Vick suffered an injury during the Sunday match against the Washington Redskins. The Redskins vs Eagles match was highly anticipated, as it brought Donovan McNabb against his former team. Ironically, Michael Vick and not Kevin Kolb was the starting quarterback.

Kevin Kolb may get his old post back now that Michael Vick is injured. Vick joined the Eagles after being released from Prison following an illegal dogfighting scandal. He started for the Atlanta Falcons prior to his arrest, indictment, and prison sentence. At one point, he was the highest paid player in the NFL.

Vick still has skills, and they are skills that the Eagles love to exploit. After Kolb was injured in his first ever regular season start, Vick took up the slack.

Vick bruised his ribs during last Sunday’s game against the Redskins. As such, he might miss up to two weeks of the NFL season. Will he stay the Eagles starting QB, or will Kolb get back into the saddle again? Only time will tell.

However, the Eagles Quarterback Michael Vick injury update 2010 points to two weeks out of the regular NFL season. What are your thoughts?
