Lavin was put in a medically induced coma to reduce swelling to the brain. This is common in traumatic events such as this. It's believed at this time that TJ Lavin will make a full recovery after the accident.
Face it- Xtreme sports are dangerous, and BMX biking is an Xtreme sport! It's entertaining yes, but when things go wrong it can really be serious.
Our thoughts are with TJ Lavin at this time. Leave your thoughts for him in our comments below after you view the videos on our TJ Lavin accident coma update.
