Chicago Marathon 2010 Results Are In: American Contenders in Top

Chicago Marathon 2010: On 10/10/10 the Bank of America Chicago Marathon took place. Now, the Chicago Marathon is a grueling 26.2 mile course (like all other marathons) and as such it's amazing to me that both the men's and women's winners finished the race in under two and a half hours.

To find out who won the men's and women's race, click here. The rest of the focus on this article will be on the American racers.

Jason Hartmann finished the race eighth, and was the highest ranked American. He finished quicker than the top women's winner showcasing how tight the spread was at the top. He ran the course in two hours, 11 minutes and 6 seconds.

Desiree Davila is the top American women's race contender, finishing 3rd with a time of 2 hours 26 minutes and 20 seconds.

Jason Hartmann had to have his stomach pumped before the race because of his stomach. Despite feeling bad, he placed very well.

Congrats to all the contenders of the Chicago Marathon 2010.
