CMA Awards Winners 2010!

CMA Award 2010 winners are available, and the list of winners is full of some surprises, and some not so big surprises. Miranda Lambert is among the CMA Awards 2010 winners, although she failed to snatch the much coveted Entertainer of the Year award.

Brad Paisley won that honor. He offered a tearful acceptance speech and you can tell that he was touched by winning the award.

Last night's ceremony included appearances by Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, the Zac Brown Band, Sugarland, Miranda Lambert, Loretta Lynn, and Kid Rock. Vince Gill stood alongside Gwyneth Paltrow as she sang "Country Strong" which is from her movie by the same title. She rocked!

Miranda Lambert is the female entertainer of the year, Blake Shelton is the male entertainer of the year, and Lady Antebellum was the group of the year. Miranda Lambert had the album of the year, but perhaps most impressive of all she was presented her award by Loretta Lynn.

What are your thoughts on the CMA Awards Winners 2010?

44th Annual CMA Awards 2010 Ceremony Tomorrow

The 44th Annual CMA Awards 2010 ceremony takes place tomorrow. The CMA Awards 2010 will show us some of Country music's best performers. In addition, it will be the world premiere of Gwyneth Paltrow's music career - we've most recently seen her as "Pepper" in Iron Man 2.

Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Lady Antebellum, and more are among the artists we can expect to see. Miranda Lambert, and Reba McEntire are among those that will be there as well.

Nashville has had a tumultuous year, with Opryland, the Opry Mills Mall, and the Opryland convention center devastated during massive floods this spring. Nashville will be lit up again with the stars as it will take a lot more than water to tear down the heart of country music.

This year, the big nominees are Lady Antebellum, the Zac Brown Band, and Miranda Lambert. In addition, Miranda Lambert has been nominated for the "Most Honored" category, drawing criticism from Reba McEntire who is shocked that people like Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney weren't nominated for that category.

In fairness, Lambert said she's "weirded out" that she was given a nomination for that category so early in her career.

The 44th annual CMA Awards 2010 ceremony nominees can be found here.
