Fran Drescher New Talk Show?

Fran Drescher new talk show? According to reports, Fran Drescher, best known for her role in the 90's sitcom "the Nanny" is launching her own talk show. Yes, the nasal-y voice with a distinct New York accent is real and so is the snorty laugh. However, Drescher has a big heart and wants to educate women on issues that are important to her.

Drescher is not only a cancer survivor, but a rape survivor as well. She's a "self made woman who's been to hell and back a couple times" according to her very own words.

The Fran Drescher show will have a three week trial period in certain market. It will be produced by Fox and syndicator Debmar-Mercury. If the markets respond well, then the show could be launched nationally. So...could Fran Drescher be the next Oprah?

You can't replace Oprah, but it will be nice to see Drescher outside the Nanny.
