NFL Power Rankings Week 5 Bring Pittsburgh Steelers to Top

The NFL Power Rankings week 5 bring the Pittsburgh steelers to the top. The reason I say this is that the Pittsburgh Steelers have made us remember back to the days of the Steel Curtain in the 1970s when "Mean" Joe Green, LC Greenwood, Ernie Holmes and Dwight White didn't let a single point through after the Steelers lost their QB Terry Bradshaw in 1976.

While this defense has let some points by, they've held in quite well considering that "Big Ben" Roethlisberger has been on NFL suspension for 4 weeks after sexual attack allegations. The fact that they've managed to be 3-1 during the entire time is quite amazing.

Then again, the Steeler defense has Troy Polamalu, James Harrison, and Lawrence Timmons. They have done incredibly well so far this year.

In the AFC, the Steelers are the team to beat...especially once Big Ben is back. That's why the NFL Power Rankings week 5 put Steelers on the top.
