Matthew Stafford injury update. Matthew Stafford suffered an injury during today's game between the Lions and the New York Jets. The Lions almost won - but true to the curse they lost in Overtime. Matthew Stafford was also a loss for the team, as he left late in the fourth quarter with an apparent shoulder injury. Stafford has re-injured the shoulder that was injured during the Lions' season opener against the Bears.
The Lions lead the Jets 20-10 at which point their QB was injured. The Jets were then able to tie the game at regulation, and secure a 3 point lead during OT.
The Vikings Cardinals match and the Eagles-Colts game went in to overtime today as well, as did the Raiders-Chiefs matchup.
I hope Matthew Stafford's injury gets better because everyone knows that the Lions really need all the help they can get!
