'Megamind' Box Office - #1 Slot, Before Due Date & For Colored Girls

'Megamind' Box Office - #1 Slot, Before Due Date & For Colored Girls. The animated film "Megamind" came in at the #1 spot at the box office, followed by the comedy "Due Date" starring Robert Downey Jr and Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover). The #3 slot came in as Tyler Perry's new film "For Colored Girls" which is based on a poem play, which is titled "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide/When The Rainbow is Not Enough."

The Box office is far from recordbreaking this week. The #1 slot earned $47.6 million, followed by "Due Date" with $33.5 million, and "For Colored Girls" with $20.1 million. The film by Summit Entertainment (the studio which produces "Twilight" series) titled "Red" Brought in $8.8 million and placed fourth.

Megamind was a 3D Dreamworks production, and it's an exciting thing to see. Due Date appears to be one of those movies that will be great on cable, and For Colored Girls appears to be a very deep film that you shouldn't go see when you don't want to think.

What are your views on this weekend's Megamind box office totals and Due Date, For Colored Girls box office?
