Michael Vick Injury Update: Could Vick Be back for Atlanta Falcons Game?

Michael Vick’s injury during Sunday’s game against the Redskins was something that we didn’t see coming. Michael Vick was the backup QB, but then became the Eagle’s starter after Kevin Kolb’s injury. It’s been a hard year for the duo. Kolb had a concussion, and Vick bruised his ribs. However, fans want Vick to be back on the field ASAP, and so we are providing you with an injury update.

There’s some speculation that Vick might be back out on the field for the Sunday match against the 49ers. However, the Eagles are lucky in that they have two talented QBs to lead their team to victory.

Everyone’s hoping that Vick could go up against the Atlanta Falcons on October 17th. However, that’s not 100% certain that he will be able to come back. In addition, what happens if Kolb outshines him on the field? Only time will tell.

So Michael Vick’s injury looks like its sidelined him for the 49ers game this Sunday, and possibly the big match against the Atlanta Falcons. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that Vick will be able to lace up for the Falcons game, though.

Eagles Quarterback Michael Vick Injury 2010 Update

Eagles quarterback Michael Vick suffered an injury during the Sunday match against the Washington Redskins. The Redskins vs Eagles match was highly anticipated, as it brought Donovan McNabb against his former team. Ironically, Michael Vick and not Kevin Kolb was the starting quarterback.

Kevin Kolb may get his old post back now that Michael Vick is injured. Vick joined the Eagles after being released from Prison following an illegal dogfighting scandal. He started for the Atlanta Falcons prior to his arrest, indictment, and prison sentence. At one point, he was the highest paid player in the NFL.

Vick still has skills, and they are skills that the Eagles love to exploit. After Kolb was injured in his first ever regular season start, Vick took up the slack.

Vick bruised his ribs during last Sunday’s game against the Redskins. As such, he might miss up to two weeks of the NFL season. Will he stay the Eagles starting QB, or will Kolb get back into the saddle again? Only time will tell.

However, the Eagles Quarterback Michael Vick injury update 2010 points to two weeks out of the regular NFL season. What are your thoughts?
