Sister Wives. Who knew those two little words would have such a controversial translation. The TLC series Sister Wives is just like a real-life HBO Big Love show...although it's got less sex and arguably less drama. However, that's because the family isn't running a home improvement store, trying to run a casino on an Indian reservation, and Kody Brown, unlike the fictional Bill Henrickson, isn't running for a public office.Polygamy is illegal in Utah, and you can be a polygamist even if you aren't "legally" married to multiple partners. Co-habitation can also indicate a polygamist lifestyle. As such, the state of Utah is investigating Kody Brown and his entourage of wives for polygamy.
The Sister Wives also appeared on the Oprah show - a sure fire indication that they have "made it" to viral popularity status. Honestly, I didn't think that I would like the show. However, now it's one of my guilty pleasures.
