Insheeption At South Park

Insheeption at South Park transpired last night. While South Park ’s Insheeption was far less viral than last week’s take on Jersey Shore , it was sure hilarious! The show parodied both the reality show “Hoarders” and the summer hit “Inception.”

Hoarders is about people who won’t get rid of anything – and in South Park Stan was accused of being a “locker hoarder” and during an intervention insists on being allowed to keep a maggot covered sandwhich.

And then there’s Inception.

During rehab, Stan is with a “Sheep Hoarder”, Mr. Mackey, and himself and that’s where Inception starts. Mr. Mackey has a dream, which gets more and more dangerous, and people like Matt Hasselbeck, firemen, and Leonardo Dicaprio and a gang of spies all go in to get him. In the end, it’s Freddy Krueger who reluctantly signs up to pull him out of the dream.

While not as funny as the South Park episode, this was still a great South Park episode. Insheeption was definitely on the mark with their Hoarders and Inception parodies.

Katy Perry Too Hot for Sesame Street, True Blood Parody Not

Katy Perry was kicked off Sesame Street for being "too hot" in her cleavage-bearing getup. However, the popular children's show then went on to parody the HBO hit series, "True Blood." Now, if this isn't contradictory, I don't know what is!

Katy Perry was looking cute in a green dress. You could see that some effort was made to flatten down her 34 D's, and overall if you know the singer you know the look is one of her more conservative looks. However, some parents saw too much skin when a clip was released on YouTube and in the end, the show announced that they were pulling the clip from the New Year's Eve show.

Then, the unthinkable happens. The children's show parodies True Blood. Yes,that's right - the gory, sex-laden Sunday late night cable TV show for adults. Of course, the parody is more for the parents than the children.

Somehow I think it all got backwards somewhere along the line. Katy Perry's Sesame Street appearance wasn't over the top, and was quite fun and kid based. True Mud - the parody of True Blood is for adults and just plain disturbing.
