"UFC 121 Results"

UFC 121 Results are available, and for the most part they were shocking. UFC 121 results weren't shocking because of the actual results of Velasquez beating Lesnar, but it was shocking that he did so via TKO in the first round at 4:12

The rest of the results are as follows:

-Jake Shields def. Martin Kampmann via split decision.

-Diego Sanchez def. Paulo Thiago via unanimous decision.

-Matt Hamill def. Tito Ortiz via unanimous decision.

-Brendan Schaub def Gabriel Gonzaga via unanimous decision.

-Daniel Roberts def. Mike Guymon via submission in the 1st round.

-Court McGee def. Ryan Jensen via submission in the 3rd round.

Tito Ortiz was defeated as well, as was Paulo Thiago. Now that Velasquez is the first Mexican heavyweight, it will be interesting to see how long he holds on to the championship. He will have to defend his title next year late in the year or first thing in 2012.

"UFC 121 Results" 10/23/2010

UFC 121 results 10/23/2010 Lesnar vs Velasquez are available. Brock Lesnar fell on 10/23/2010 to the new champion, Cain Velasquez in the highly anticipated UFC 121 bout which took place last night. Cain Velasquez has become the first Mexican heavyweight MMA champion and will take on Junior Dos Santos sometime in 2011 after this fight has been over.

Unlike most headlining events, UFC 121 ended in the first round. Yes, that's right - the first round of the match Velasquez but an end to Brock Lesnar at 4:12. The ref called the game unanimously after a bloodied and beaten Brock Lesnar had no other choice but to take refuge by hugging the cage.

Many are left questioning what's next for Lesnar. Perhaps he might go up against Frank Mir, but then again he offered a disappointing performance tonight. Cain Velasquez has a lot to prove and his bout against Junior Dos Santos will be a tough match to win.
