Iron Man 3 release date announced. I just recently watched Iron Man 2 after it came out on DVD. I must say it had the same action and bravado I came to expect after seeing the original show. At the conclusion there were enough loose ends where I was left desiring more. Needless to say, I'm glad that Robert Downey Jr and Gwenyth Paltrow and the rest of the cast will be back for Iron Man 3. If you're excited, don't hold your breath - the release date is set for May 3, 2013. Yes, as in two and a half years from now. So not only am I going to have to wait another year for Twilight, I'm going to have to wait two and a half for the next Iron Man!
It's not all that surprising when you come to think of it. After all, it's a big budget film that requires not only acting, but a lot of post production work -special effects, computer graphics and the like. All I know is that if Marvel keeps on their same continuum, we will be very pleased on Iron Man 3's release date.
