Jon Stewart "Restoring Sanity" Rally Attendance Estimates. The Jon Stewart "Restoring Honor" rally mixed entertainment with politics to make a common sense approach to voting. Americans viewed the Comedy Central personalities Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert at the "Restoring Honor" rally and the "March to Keep Fear Alive." The two personalities put on a star-studded event which featured not only Ozzy Osbourne, but "The Roots" and Sheryl Crow.
Colbert was as hilarious as ever, sporting superhero costumes and even having a huge puppet of himself talking...presumably provoking fear.
The rally attendance estimates are saying somewhere around 150,000 people were there, but some are saying that the figure was more like 250,000. Does it matter if the Jon Stewart Restoring Honor Rally got the message out? See the video below:
