Anne Hathaway & James Franco Host 2011 Oscars

Anne Hathaway & James Franco are going to host the 2011 Oscars.  I couldn't be more excited! This past week, I have watched both Valentine's Day and Bride Wars - two great Hathaway classics. You can't beat the scene where Hathaway crashes Kate Hudson's Bridal Shower in Bride Wars - she can really dance!

Well, her next big gig (besides Love & Other Drugs - which I never thought Love was a drug, but Katy Perry and Rachel Uchitel seem to beg to differ.  Katy Perry's "Your Love" and Rachel Uchitel's recent admission to be 'addicted to love' seems to differ) is hosting the Oscars with hunky James Franco.

Franco was "Harry" in Spiderman, for those who can't place a face with the name.

Deadline confirms that the two will host the Oscar awards ceremony, which could be a move by the organization hosting the event to boost ratings, which have dwindled over recent years.

Both are young actors on the rise, and their hosting the gig could bring in a much younger demographic to the table.

It will be interesting to see how this move plays off.  Franco and Hathaway will join the ranks of Hollywood comedians such as Steve Martin, Chris Rock, Jon Stewart, and Billy Crystal have all hosted the event in the past.
