'Boardwalk Empire' Season 1 Episode 7: 'Home' Recap

'Boardwalk Empire' Season 1 Episode 7: 'Home' Recap. HBO's "Boardwalk Empire" has become a big hit, and the seventh episode brought some plot developments. We learned that Nucky can't go home, as he has showed us some painful memories of the past - including one where his father used a hot poke iron on his hand after he reached for a piece of bread before him.

In addition, his father made him pick a fight with older boys when he was only 9 after the boys stole his baseball mitt. He was then beaten unconscious.

Eli then takes in he and Nucky's father, and Nucky burns down a house that he flipped and gave to his ward boss Flemming after his dad taunts him one last time.

Jimmy tried to escape memories of his own, going in to a doctors to get an old war injury checked out. While waiting at the doctor's office, he meets a fellow veteran who wears a phantom of the opera style mask to hide his visage in the wake of having half of it blown off in the war. The two bond and head back to the whorehouse where Jimmy is living.

Jimmy's ex-fiancee turns out to be a lesbian, and we see some girl-on girl topless action. Lucy, Nucky's mistress, begs him to take her back.

Chalky also thinks that Nucky is setting him up when someone comes in to give him another offer, when in fact it's someone in cahoots with Lucky Luciano who cuts a deal with the D'Alessio brothers.

"Boardwalk Empire" season 1 episode 7 "Home" recap - hope you enjoyed.
