Soprano Actress Dies At 46; Denise Borino Quinn. Denise Borino-Quinn played the lovable wife of Johnny Sac in HBO's hit series Sopranos from 2000-2007. She landed the role in an open casting call, and had no previous acting experience. She was a part time manicurist and law firm worker in the New Jersey area where she went to the casting call. Ginny Sacrimoni was Johnny's plus-sized and lovable wife. Johnny Sac was the boss of Tony Soprano's rival mob.
Denise Borino-Quinn was preceded in death by her husband, a few months ago. She didn't have any roles outside her well beloved Sopranos character Ginny Sacrimoni.
Other recent celebrity deaths include Jim Hunter, NASCAR executive and Maurice Lucas.
