Dancing With The Stars 2010 Lineup [ELIMINATION]

Dancing with the Stars 2010 lineup [Elimination]. The 2010 Dancing with the Stars lineup changed again! Last night was another shocking elimination on Dancing with the Stars. It was Rick Fox, not Kyle Massey or Bristol Palin who was eliminated from the show, bringing up a lot of frustration within the DWTS circles.

DWTS isn't all about learning how to dance and performing well. If so, the results would be predictable. Bristol Palin would have been eliminated within the first three weeks, and Rick Fox would likely still be here.

However, part of the Dancing with the Stars results are determined through eliminations which are based, in part, by the popularity of the candidate.

When you have someone like Bristol Palin, who has someone like her mother essentially campaigning for her she could end up in the top 3 just based on popularity.

Kyle Massey is also very popular as well, as kids are always big time voters as well. Rick Fox is someone that not many of the younger population has heard of. If this pattern continues, Rick Fox and Jennifer Grey could have reason to worry.

What are your views on the Dancing with the Stars 2010 Lineup?

  1. The teabaggers will sweep Bristol to a "well deserved" victory.

  2. DWTS should be about largely about the dancing! It should be about how they improve from week to week, it should be about who performs best - I think the actual performance and scores from the judges should be given a certain percentage of the total scores and the 'popularity' or voters calls should be given a percentage. If not, why call it a 'dancing' show... it should just be a weekly popularity contest.

  3. i think they should not let the public vote because you know it's all popularity and not who has the skill or talent. show is going down in my opinion and bristol palin really needs to go , if she wins then Yes , it's a fixed show!

  4. Are you kidding me! what is Bristol still doing there shes as bad as Kate! Im no longer watching!!!And it has nothing to do with my pol views....

  5. Not watching it anymore. It's obvious voters don't vote on who's good and deserves to stay but popularity only. I imagine republicans got together and told everyone to keep voting for Bristol so she stays in the competition!

  6. The producers HAVE GOT to change the format. This is not a competition for talent anymore...its clearly a "popularity" vote. If they continue on like this, they will lose a huge audience, myself included! Talent is voted on by the professional judges and should be at least 1/2 of the total picture of the final numbers.

  7. um hello people, obviously the show should be about dancing: however the voters are the viewers and the viewers are voting for who they want to see on the show. This season definitly has had some surprising results so i agree that maybe the voters have too much influence. however the show breaks it down, next season they should lessen the percentage of voters scores on the total score. but us voters do matter, we vote based on talent and just who we like more based on their character and personality. if the show were based soley on talent, audrina would still be there, but the show would lack in other areas..... like personality.

  8. You bashers left over from the 2008 elections cycle, give it up already. I would hope that you would understand the premise of the show. Haters, Haters and more Hate. Bristol is a breath of fresh air and we don't want her to go.

  9. If Bristol is a breath of fresh air, I am suffocating. She has NO personality and is like a blob out there. If they do not get rid of her soon I will not watch anymore. I thought Rick was great - better than Kurt Warner. Please, please, please - make this about dancing and not politics!

  10. Iagree that the show should be based on improvement and performance and not how popular you are or who your mother has paid to cast a vote for you. This is my first year really watching the show, and not I know how. Please get Bristol Palin off the show. My five year old dances better than she does.

  11. OMG!..Cannot believe that Cheryl and Rick Fox are off DWTS!!. I don't hate her but Bristol Palin is a non talented clumsy cow. Even her dance partner was surprised that they made it through this elimination. Whole thing is rigged by Republicans. How convenient during election time. Done watching this show. So sad that Amerca doesn't know talent when they see it.

  12. I DON'T WATCH DWTS BUT MY DAUGHTER WAS WATCHING IT SO I JOINED HER. I'VE NEVER SEEN A DANCER AS STIFF AND UNGRACEFUL AS BRISTOL. IF YOU GUYS WANT PEOPLE TO WATCH THE SHOW, YOU SHOULD HAVE BETTER DANCERS STAY NOT LIKE BRISTOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!RIDICULOUS!!!!! FAT!!!!!!!!!! AND I COULD NOT SAY ANYTHING GOOD EITHER ABOUT THE JUDGES. THIS SHOW IS A JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  13. I THINK BRISTOL SHOULDVE BEEN ELIMINATED A LONG TIME AGO. SHES SLOW AMD HAS NO RYTHEM AND SHES ONLY STILL IN THE COMPETITION BECAUSE OF HER SORRY MOM. I FEEL SORRY FOR HER PARTNER. I NOTICED SHE MESSED UP ON HER STEPS THE MONDAY NITE WHEN THEY HAD THAT GROUP DANCE OFF. I WOULDNT WANT HER ON MY TEAM AT ALL. SHE SUCKS AT DANCING

  14. I won't be watching DTWS anymore this season, and maybe never. Why did anyone think that Bristol Palin should be a "star"? If being a teenager who had unprotected sex qualifies a person to be a "star" then I'm not interested in watching!

    ReplyDelete
  15. So I'm guessing that all of you "Bristol" hatred on here could get out there and be just like the professional's? Yeah right! I agree it should be about dancing, but is it fair that Brandy and Jennifer have experience in dancing and the others do not? But wait it's always the one's who are nobody's that like to throw stones. Go back to your small pond, chances are you have DWTS set up on your DVR!

  16. As long as you continue the public voting, this is what will happen. Sad to say talent is not involved. This is your Reality Show.

  17. What a load of mindless lib BS by a nameless so-called reporter.
DWTS has always been partly a popularity contest, nothing new there.
People are sending a message, no more will we support the dem,s propaganda machine. No hate, no threats just the truth American’s will no longer put up with it.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Wake up, it has always been about some who could dance and some who have never danced. Make the show fair and have one with all non-dancers or ones with professional experience. The public voting gives the inexperienced dancers a chance to stay on the show. I say, watch the show for what it is...... entertainment. Doesn't all the negativity make you sad.

  19. Although I am not a member of the Tea Party, some of them are friends of mine. Not one of them is interested in what the heck is going on with Dancing With the Stars. Not one of them is interested in voting on a TV show. They are interested in serious matters. It is simply insane to think that the Tea Party is voting for Bristol Palin on DWTS. Further, I think STARS refers to the professional dancers. No one I know who that chubby Disney kid is but we don't object to him being on the show. This is just TV - lighten up!

    ReplyDelete
  20. DWTS is turning into a popularity show just like American Idol. They need to change the process. Judges should account for a certain percentage, as well as, public voting. Bristol Palin is as stiff as a wooden plank with no personality.....go figure!!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Its always about popularity. If it wasn't a lot of no talent performers wouldn't be around. Why is Paris Hilton still around? Sure not talent. I could go on and on. After all we elected a President on popularity. It sure wasn't ability to unite or govern.

    ReplyDelete
  22. The judges were even surprised last nite. Someone should tell Alaska its not popularity show. I'm finisheD with this show - RIDICULOUS!!!

    ReplyDelete
  23. President Obama was not voted into office because of his popularity. He certainly was not as popular as John McCain and had not been in politics as long. How can you unite with people that do not want you to united with them? This sure has a lot to do with DWTS

    ReplyDelete
  24. All the name calling is really not needed. It's a reality show! Yes, I don't think Bristol should be still on the show but we don't have to call her names. And people who are big into polictics are not the ones calling in to vote not is the show rigged.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Bristol Palin should not still be in the competition because she is not a very good dancer, but for someone to cut her down because she is a "little" overweight and had unprotected sex is very low class. How many of us have done the same thing, but because our parents are not known no one finds out about it.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Bristol Palin should have been gone since earlier in the competition, only because she cannot dance, at all. It's unbelievable that she is still there. The judges were shocked, even Kyle and Lacey were shocked, thinking they were the ones leaving. I mean really? After all, this is a dance competition? Right? To send Rick Fox home instead, is unbelievable.

  27. Have any of you ney sayer's ever thought that maybe a lot of viewers really like Bristol. We like the Fact that she made a mistake and owned up to it. She is the one out there telling our Daughters not to make the same mistake she did. From the look of the Voting, we like what she is doing. You go Bristol you are making Lemonaid out of Lemons and it taste real good!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Bristol should've been gone n y iz she on dancing wit da stars she ain't even nobody smh u ppl r so stoopid

    ReplyDelete
  29. I thought this was an entertainment show; but after reading most of these NASTY comments it seems as though people are trying to make it into something political!! SERIOUSLY!!! Get over yourselves!!!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Why is bristol even there?! Shes not a star. She's a "teen advocate". Plus she totally screwed up her part. She's "embarrassed and shy". Really? That's probably not how she was acting when she was on top of Levi!

    ReplyDelete
  31. I am NOT watching it either anymore - i have from day one wondered why bristol palin is on the show - she IS NO STAR - her claim to fame is having a baby out of wedlock at age 17 - why can't other teen mothers dance on the show then???????i don't think it's fair towards other teenagers who had babies out of wedlock!

    ReplyDelete
  32. I think next week is going to be harder on the show and Bristol is gonna fall and really mess up. The show's producers have kept the show as easy and slow as possible, to make sure that Bristol can do it. But soon they are going to have to ramp things up because they know they are losing their audience. People want to see real dancing and she won't be able to stroll around that floor with her partner pulling her. She's gonna have to put up or shut up next week, believe this.

    ReplyDelete
  33. dwts get rid of bristol, why is she still there? because of mama, she's overweight and frumpy and she cant dance, what is going on with this show.stop the public from voting if this is what happens, this show is not even close to being fair. Our family is done watching, they take good dancers off and leave someone like her on, this show is nothing but a joke. GOOD BYE,DWTS

    ReplyDelete
  34. my dog could dance better than crystal, however who
said the world is fair, lucky she has a mother out there
to give her support, i feel sorry for the talented dancers.

    ReplyDelete
  35. The dancers who are really working hard at this are losing weight. Margaret Cho lost weight, Kyle is dropping the weight. But Bristol is not losing weight because she is putting no effort into this and I am not happy about that. I enjoy this show, because I like to see good dancing. I am not tuning in to see someone be dragged across the floor.

    ReplyDelete
  36. If she would dance a little harder, she might lose that stomach or that fat head.

    ReplyDelete
  37. yes, I agree that Audrina and Rick should still be on DWTS and it is getting frustrating for the viewers to see Kyle and Bristol still on the show. I don't see anyone calling Kyle fat. Bristol is her own person not her mother and I don't think she should be berated this way. However, Bristol should have been voted off a few weeks ago. The judges are going to have to step up to the plate and have more say in who stays and who goes.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Because Kyle moves around and he is losing some of his weight.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I am about ready to belong to the "not going to watch anymore" club. Not really a dance contest anymore. Too much other stuff not enough dancing. Voting is ridiculous if the best dancers are voted off. Next season just skip the dancing, post pictures and call it quits

    ReplyDelete
  40. It's just so unfair to see the good dancers eliminated, and Bristol is still there. I don't care if she is an unwed mother, etc. She just cannot dance! Kyle is chubby but he dances, he really moves and does so well for his age. But to let Audrina, Rick of all people, go? She said herself that she missed being home and her baby, etc. I think she is being kept there just because of her Mom. Please, this is a dancing and entertainment show, I just can't get over it.

    ReplyDelete
  41. The voters are insane! Is it a star quality competition or sympathy competion?? Being in the bottom over and over Bristol stayed for so long?? What a shame...are we having politics at a dancing and entertainment show....I am not going to watch it even!

    ReplyDelete
  42. I just can't beleive still having Bristol in the competition has nothing to do with the politics. How come a below average dancer like her has not been eliminated in first or second week. I was thinking this is because some GOP fans are trying to keep her up there. Until I saw the ABC's coverage on 2010 Election. Then, I recognized that I was sort of right for GOP fans wishing to have her there, but maybe I was wrong thinking voters are the regular people, it seems they are ABC's top level GOP sympaths.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Yes, I've lost interest in the show , too. A dancing contest should be judged mainly on the talent of the individuals. I don't know what is going on in Bristol's head when she's still in this thing while all of these talented people are being eliminated. I'd be a little embarrassed to stay on, if I were her.

    ReplyDelete
  44. you people take a tv show way to seriously. sounds like a bunch of pissy liberals to me, lighten up people

    ReplyDelete
  45. DWTS was my favorite show but I stopped watching it because it's very unfair. Bristol's mom is problaby paying all Alaska to vote for her dauaghter. Bristol has not charisma nothing period. Judges you need to speak up. You are going to lose alot of viewers.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I am not watching any more until Bristol is gone. What makes me angry is she isn't trying. She should have been out with the monkey suits when she forgot her steps. Then she attempted to slam Kelly Osbourne's parents. Her comments about Latin dancing being too suggestive. Hello, you have a baby. It wasn't brought here by immaculate conception. I would be ashamed to dance so poorly and then watch better harder working dancers get voted out. If she had any honor she would vote herself off. That is what I would do.

    ReplyDelete
  47. This not about politics. This is about what America values. America values those that work hard, improve upon their talent and play fair. It is an affront to see Jennifer Grey and the other dancers in the bottom with Bristol. Ms Grey is working past her limits in spite of cancer surgery, Audrina worked hard and Rick Fox although older danced his shoes off and when called to perform that is exactly what he did, while Bristol makes no effort because she thinks she doesn't have to listen to the Judges. Her supporters know she doesn't deserve to win, but vote for her anyway. She and they have no honor. In America it is those that do the work that are supposed to win the prize. Instead we have someone that is totally unqualified and lazy staying while those that have worked harder are sent home, but that is what the Palin camp has always stood for and now we have racism thrown in too.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I'm not getting why everyone hates Bristol Palin. She is a kid. She hasn't done anything to anyone. I even saw a comment where someone's mother called her "fat". How insensitive and immature is that. Grow up people. Someone even said the Republicans have rigged DWTS. REALLY??? Other people talk about her having a baby out of wedlock. GASP! I guess she's the only person on the planet that ever had sex outside of marriage. People need to grow up and get real.
