Gwyneth Paltrow Glee Cee Lo's "Forget You" Performance

Gwyneth Paltrow Glee Cee Lo's "Forget You" Performance was one of Glee season 2's most memorable moments yet. Playing a substitute teacher in an episode cleverly named "The Substitute"

Perhaps one of the most surprising things about the episode was that Paltrow sang Cee Lo Green's "Forget You" which is the clean radio edit of a much more explicit song. MTV Reports that the rapper was very honored to have Gwyneth Paltrow of all people cover his song.

In the clip, the kids are ragging on the substitute, saying "I bet you don't even know who Cee Lo is...you're like 40." She smartly replies "More Like Top 4o"

And then she sings the hit song.

I just wish she would have broke out in the song somewhere a little more colorful than Glee's bland band room, Such an energetic show needs a little more color.

What did you think of Gwyneth Paltrow's Glee Cee Lo's "Forget You" performance?

  2. Seriously not a high point for Glee -- it's a good performance; but there have been many better moments to remember.
