Last night, the Patriots won over the Steelers 39-26, and the game was a great one. Tom Brady lead the way, using laser like precision to cut through the Steelers' world renowned defense. Although the defense is nothing like it was in the days of the "Steel Curtain", it is still one of the best in the league. Defeating Roethlisberger's team is no small feat for the Pats.
Tom Brady threw an amazing 350 yards during the game - rookie tightend Rob Gronkowski was passed the ball for three amazing TDs.
The Steelers held in there as well - although their big efforts didn't end up giving them enough to win the game.
Perplexed – giving it away. Tomlin & or the ownership are painting themselves in to a corner. Who is making these decisions? Jeff Reed should not be the scapegoat. There are fundamental problems: a weak offensive coordinator, the decision to not prioritize trading or drafting for a shut down playmaking defensive back after 2009 obvious exposure of the Steelers secondary with or without Troy. The same for the offensive line’s limitations. Please tell me why Santonio was traded for a 5th round draft choice. Didn’t Ben have something to do with this? He is such an explosive versatile receiver and if we’re lucky / unlucky we will seem him in the playoffs when the pigeons come home to roost. Are these budgetary decisions or is the coach way over his head?
