Miley Cyrus's Who Owns My Heart video is bringing controversy once again. Miley Cyrus is the 17 year old daughter of Billy Rae Cyrus and for the most part was known as "Hannah Montana" from her stint on the Disney show by the same name. Earlier in the spring, a lap dance video of Miley surfaced, and a couple of weeks later everyone was up in arms about her video "Can't be Tamed." Now she's released another video and for some reason there are people who are SHOCKED that she showed skin and acted twice her age.
The 17 year old (who has fans who are as young as 10, 12 years old) is in her lingerie getting ready to go to the club, and showing lots of leg in a limo then dancing in a club.
Last time I checked, clubs that let in people under 18 are non-existant and those who let people in under 21 are a rarity.
However, in the defense of Miley Cyrus - it's not her job to ensure that she caters to a particular audience, and it's not up to her to be modest or be a good role model. It's up to individual parents to monitor what their children are watching. That being said, I'd have more respect for a bit more modesty...
