The Eagles were successful in beating the Colts, who have been able to have a great season thus far.
The hit was called illegal, but NFL authorities will look in to the measure to see if it is, indeed, necessary to charge a fine due to the hit.
The Eagles safety Quintin Mikell was the person who illegally hit Collie, and it appears as if Collie turned his head in an awkward manner and had to be taken off the field on a stretcher.
This is only one of this week's NFL injuries, and it put a damper on the Colts. Michael Vick lead the team to a narrow 26-24 victory in a battle against Peyton Manning's Colts.
Get better Collie! Hurry up and Get Better...
ReplyDeleteThank you for correcting yourself and deleting my earlier post asking you to do so :)
ReplyDeleteI hope a speedy recovery for Collie and I really hope that there is a fine levied so there will be more outcry and magnification on how many bad calls there are on the field and the ridiculous Monday morning QB fines handed out from an office in NYC.
The helmet to helmet was in no way intentional. The momentum and force of the two tacklers caused the helmet to helmet. Please look at the play as a football fan and not a Colts fan... You will only help the situation.
ReplyDeleteI am relieved there was no pyrolysis. I feel bad for both parties. This is football and the amount of head/neck injuries over the past couple years is staggering. Maybe they should go back to the older helmets?
I'm a colts fan and I don't think any fine should be levied against anyone the helmet to helmet like said above was an accident yeah its sad and I fell bad for collie but its football and injuries are part of the game and everyone does there best to avoid injuries its just was a bad luck for collie
