Colts' Austin Collie Injury Update. The Colts' reciever Austin Collie has been diagnosed with a concussion after sustaining an illegal hit from Eagles' defensive backs during the first half of the Colts-Eagles matchup today. The Eagles were successful in beating the Colts, who have been able to have a great season thus far.
The hit was called illegal, but NFL authorities will look in to the measure to see if it is, indeed, necessary to charge a fine due to the hit.
The Eagles safety Quintin Mikell was the person who illegally hit Collie, and it appears as if Collie turned his head in an awkward manner and had to be taken off the field on a stretcher.
This is only one of this week's NFL injuries, and it put a damper on the Colts. Michael Vick lead the team to a narrow 26-24 victory in a battle against Peyton Manning's Colts.
