Dallas's White Rock Marathon 2010 Results

The White Rock Marathon 2010 results from Dallas, Texas are available.  This was a big weekend for marathons, and the White Rock Marathon was just one of many to have been completed this weekend. For the most part, the Kenyans dominated this particular race.  However, no records were set.

James Kirwa from Kenya was the Dallas White Rock Marathon 2010 winner, although his winning time of 2:18:37 was 6 minutes off the marathon's record pace.

The second and third place marathon runners were Edward Tabut and Patrick Rotich, both of Kenya with times of 2:18:45 and 2:21:16 respectively.

For the women, the top three were Camille Herron of Indiana, Everlyne Lagat, and Atalelech Asfaw with times of 2:42:30, 2:45:42, and 2:46:16.

The marathon started and ended in the Dallas Fair Park. This is the first time in over four decades that this has taken place.

There were also a few injuries, including a local sports reporter who tripped and fell and broke his nose.

It was a great day for all those involved. If you participated in the Dallas White Rock marathon 2010, we would love to hear from you!

NYC Marathon 2010 Results Available Tomorrow [New York City]

NYC Marathon 2010 Results At New York City. The 2010 New York City marathon takes place tomorrow. While horses were racing at the Churchill downs, in lengths of around a mile to a mile and a quarter, men and women are planning their own race, tomorrow.

However, these men and women weren't running short lengths at all. To be able to actually complete a marathon is remarkable. To do so in record time is amazing.

Marathons sit at around 26 miles. I still can't believe there are those out there who could do the race in two to two and a half hours.

The New York City Marathon takes place tomorrow. On the eve of the race, contenders are resting getting ready to make their mark on marathon history.

Among tomorrow's runners are a Chilean miner named Edison Pena, who trained for the marathon by running through the tunnels in the mine while trapped. In addition, the world record marathon holder for men, an Ethiopian named Gebrselassie. All eyes will be trained on the record holders tomorrow, and the Chilean miner.

What are your thoughts on the NYC marathon tomorrow?
