Skating With the Stars 2010: Sean Young First Eliminated

A week after the not-so-shocking finale of Dancing with the Stars is the first elimination of Skating with the Stars.  The fact remains that the ice version of the show is somewhat less exciting.  I dunno if it's the lack of true star power, or the lack of hype.

I mean...Sean Young? Anyone who doesn't watch soap operas (90% of the population, now that more women are at work during the daytime) doesn't know who she is.  Vince Neil caters to an older population, and if you don't keep up with Real Housewives and Celebrity Chefs you might not know who Bethenny Frankel is.

And maybe we're just tired of Dancing with the Stars. It was a long season filled with lots of disappointments for fans.  I was counting on seeing Brandy the diva dancing it up and giving Jennifer Grey a run for her money in the finale.

That didn't happen.

Enough about DWTS...what about SWTS?

In the first week, it was soap opera diva Sean Young who was eliminated.  Some say that she and Vince Neil were the biggest stars cast in the show...and both were on the bottom two.

Yikes!

Skating with the Stars 2010 cast are brave, as Skating with the Stars makes its debut next week. Then, we might have two great ABC reality shows that will leave us wondering who was voted off and everything -

Instead of dancing, celebrities will be paired up with professional skaters and will learn how to figure skate. This should be interesting, to say the least.

Now, the hope is that Skating with the Stars will be as popular as Dancing with the Stars, although critics are quick to point out that "Skating with Celebrities" on Fox flopped.

So as you are watching tonight's elimination semi-finals keep in mind that next week we will meet six "Skating with the Stars" 2010 cast members.

Skating with the Stars 2010 Cast @ ABC will debut on November 22- which is after the finale of Dancing with the Stars The Dancing with the Stars finale takes places in a week and it's going to be a big night.

Skating with the Stars will premiere with a relatively small cast. I am sure that they are going to test the waters and see if Skating with the Stars will be better than Fox's Skating with Celebrities.

The star studded cast includes Bethenney Frankel, Vince Neil, Brandon Mychal Smith, Rebecca Budig, and Sean Young.

This is going to be quite interesting. I'm really gunning for Frankel on this - as I'm a Real Housewives junkie.

Starting on November 22, after Dancing with the Stars ends, Skating with the Stars begin. However, many are thinking that perhaps the Skating with the Stars show won't be as successful as DWTS, mainly because Fox once had a show called Skating With Celebrities, which flopped.

The cast of the show includes Vince Neil, Bethenney Frankel, Sean Young, Rebecca Budig, and Jonny Moseley.

The thing that will be interesting about "skating" is that it will add a dangerous element to the show. With Dancing with the Stars, it's a matter of learning to move your body. In Skating you not only have to move your body but also keep from falling down.

I'm so looking forward to the "Skating With The Stars" 2010 cast at ABC starting November 22.

Right now, I'm trying to figure out if it will be Bristol Palin eliminated from Dancing with the Stars tonight.

"Skating With The Stars" 2010 Cast Announced At DWTS

"Skating With The Stars" 2010 Cast Announced At DWTS. The 2010 Skating with the Stars 2010 cast will be revealed tonight on Dancing with the Stars. Now, if I were famous, I would love to be on Dancing with the Stars but Skating with the Stars, not so much.

Why? Visions of me in a leotard falling on the ice dance in my head. I imagine broken limbs and blood. However, then again I could most likely get my son and husband to watch the show with me easier than I do DWTS.

Bethenney Frankel, Vince Neil, and Sean Young are names that have been thrown around as far as spoilers go. Now, I don't know about you but I'm hoping to see some big names in the cast.

As far as Dancing with the Stars goes, I think that they should have a season where some of the better cast members from seasons past should go head to head...like Dancing with the Stars, championship edition.
