Taylor Swift New Album 'Speak Now' Sales. Taylor Swift's new album, "Speak Now" has sold 1 million copies, and will debut on the Billboard Hot 200 chart at the #1 slot, the first time since 2008 that it has happened.

"Speak Now" has the second largest debut of a country album, beat only by Garth Brooks' 1992 Album. The record for the most album sales for a debut on the charts is held by N'Sync, the former boy band, and their album "No Strings Attached."

Taylor Swift also has accomplished the biggest female album debut since Britney Spears' "Oops I Did it Again" in 2000.
